Carissa is from Washington state and is obsessed with all things Broadway. She was in every musical production in high school. And would save all her waiter job tips in college just to afford trips to New York to see Broadway shows. She now teaches acting at the same elementary school as her friend Carmen. When she is not thrifting for vintage clothes, she is listening to show tunes and finding new costume ideas to surprise her students with.
